Windthrope Technologies

Windthrope Technologies specializes in the design and deployment of software within a large organization. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Professional Services, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Windthrope Technologies is based in Salt Point, New York and around since 2012. You can read more at windthrope.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
