WindJack Solutions

WindJack Solutions has been developing plug-ins, scripts, and tools for Acrobat and PDF since 2001. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Mobile Apps. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

WindJack Solutions is based in Milwaukie, Oregon. Their site is windjack.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
