Whistle

Whistle is a device and mobile app system created to monitor a pet's activity and health. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Electronics, Internet of Things, Mobile and Pet, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

Whistle is based in San Francisco, California and around since 2012. Their site is whistle.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
