Whawhee

Whawhee is a location-specific social media platform that allows you to browse and share information about your favorite interests. In practice that means scheduling posts, replying to comments and reporting across networks.

It makes the most sense for social and community managers. They also list Location Based Services, Mobile, Social Media and Social Network, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Whawhee is based in De Armanville, Alabama. Their site is whawhee.com.

Before you commit, look at which networks are supported and whether approvals are built in. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
