WeShelter

WeShelter is is an app for iOS and Android that partners with local businesses to help the homeless. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Android and iOS, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

WeShelter is based in New York, New York and founded in 2013. Their site is weshelter.org.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with WeShelter, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
