WeRescue

WeRescue provides advanced filtering of adoptable pets and search by primary breed, gender, size, age range and more. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Mobile Apps and Pet. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

WeRescue is based in Naperville, Illinois and founded in 2015. You can read more at werescue.pet.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
