W@tchTower

W@tchTower is an IT consulting firm that offers security operations management, intelligent automation, and engineering support services. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. They also list Network Security, Software Engineering and Technical Support, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

W@tchTower is based in Mclean, Virginia. More on thewatchtower.io.

Our checklist for this category: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
