vrcHost

vrcHost manages visual content, focusing on Madison Digital Image Database and Archivision Library. The job it does: writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

It makes the most sense for teams that produce a lot of documents. They also list Database, Document Management and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

vrcHost is based in Miami, Florida. Their site is vrchost.com.

Things worth asking about: offline access, permissions, and export formats. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
