Vori

Vori is a B2B operating system for the grocery industry, streamlining operations and democratizing food supply access. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list E-Commerce, Grocery, Made to Order, Operating Systems and Supply Chain Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Vori is based in East Palo Alto, California. Their site is vori.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
