VolunteerLocal

VolunteerLocal is an online software (SaaS) for anyone who needs to organize, manage, schedule and communicate with volunteers. In practice that means connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

The natural audience is manufacturers and operators. Related areas on their profile: Internet of Things. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

VolunteerLocal is based in Des Moines, Iowa and around since 2009. You can read more at volunteerlocal.com.

Things worth asking about: hardware compatibility, uptime, and support. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
