VLEC Communications

VLEC is an IT solutions consulting firm that specializes in software development, data visualization, and digital signal processing. That is the short version of VLEC Communications. The job it does: managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. They also list CRM, Data Visualization, Digital Signage, Technical Support and VoIP, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

VLEC Communications is based in Washington, District of Columbia. Their site is vlecom.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
