Vista Iowa

Vista Iowa provides school business software and a team of consultants with expertise in Iowa school accounting. Put simply, it is about recording transactions, reconciling banks and producing financial statements.

It makes the most sense for small businesses and their accountants. Alongside the main category they mention Accounting and Consulting. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Vista Iowa is based in Center Point, Iowa. Their site is vistaiowa.com.

Things worth asking about: bank feeds, multi-entity support, and accountant access. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Vista Iowa, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
