Virtual IT Managers

Virtual IT Managers offer managed IT, network security, and hosted email services. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. They also list Cloud Computing, IT Management, Network Security and Web Hosting, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Virtual IT Managers is based in Miami, Florida and around since 2008. Their site is virtualitmanagers.com.

Before you commit, look at response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Virtual IT Managers, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
