Virtual Atlantic

Virtual Atlantic provides software development, web design and development company. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

Who is it for? Mostly companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Web Design and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Virtual Atlantic is based in Reston, Virginia and founded in 2002. You can read more at vainc.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
