VIMANA

VIMANA's software helps clients gain visibility and deep insight into their manufacturing operations to improve business performance. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Developer Platform, Machine Learning and Manufacturing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

VIMANA is based in Emeryville, California and founded in 2009. You can read more at govimana.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with VIMANA, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
