Vertical Development, Inc.

Vertical Development, Inc. is specialized in database management and publishing systems. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Vertical Development, Inc. is based in Downers Grove, Illinois. You can read more at verticaldev.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
