Verge Technology Services

Verge Technology Services is an IT consultancy that provides network security, IT assistance, backup and disaster recovery services. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. They also list Consulting and Network Security, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Verge Technology Services is based in Laie, Hawaii and around since 2014. You can read more at vergetechservices.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
