Vendo

Vendo develops Spree Commerce, open-core eCommerce software offering both a free Community Edition and a paid Enterprise Edition. The job it does: running an online store from catalog to checkout.

Who is it for? Mostly retailers and brands. Related areas on their profile: E-Commerce, Marketplace, Open Source and Wholesale. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Vendo is based in Dover, Delaware. More on spreecommerce.org.

Before you commit, look at transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Vendo, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
