USERSCAPE

UserScape provides web-based businesses, software development, custom training and API development services. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Training, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

USERSCAPE is based in Poughkeepsie, New York. More on userscape.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
