Ubitrac

Ubitrac provides location-based services that develop mobile and web applications for the business, consumer, and education sectors. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Location Based Services, Mobile Apps and Software Engineering, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Ubitrac is based in Boston, Massachusetts. You can read more at ubitrac.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
