Trellis IT

Trellis IT Inc. offers IT services and software engineering solutions, focusing on custom software development and IT optimization. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Project Management and Software Engineering, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Trellis IT is based in Dallas, Texas. Their site is trellisitinc.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
