Treemily

Treemily is an online tool that helps in creating template-based family trees with varied colours and print options. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Art, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Treemily is based in Brooklyn, New York. You can read more at treemily.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Treemily, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
