Townee

Townee is a customer referral and advocacy platform that provides in-store and online tools for promoting business. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Advice. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Townee is based in Bloomington, Indiana and founded in 2020. Their site is townee.app.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know Townee well, your review carries weight here.
