Thirdwave

Thirdwave offers technology-based services such as custom software development, web content management, and hosting services. In practice that means designing and building websites and web apps.

The natural audience is companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Blogging Platforms, SEO, Web Design and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Thirdwave is based in Chicago, Illinois and founded in 1997. Their site is thirdwavellc.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
