The Vesuvius

The Vesuvius Group develops online communities for institutions and businesses. The job it does: solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. They also list 3D Technology, Animation, Architecture, Event Management and Project Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

The Vesuvius is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their site is thevesuviusgroup.com.

Before you commit, look at pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
