The Link Layers

The Link Layers is an IT company that offers software, cyber security, and cloud administration services. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. They also list Consulting, Cyber Security and Point of Sale, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

The Link Layers is based in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Their site is thelinklayers.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
