The Functionary

The Functionary provides software development and recruiting services. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Consulting, Customer Service, Recruiting and Software Engineering, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a large company team themselves (1,001 to 5,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Bigger vendor, more process. Budget time for procurement.

The Functionary is based in Frisco, Texas and around since 2017. You can read more at thefunctionary.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know The Functionary well, your review carries weight here.
