TerraSystems

TerraSystems is a GIS consultancy that provides application development, project management, data conversion, and quality control services. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Consulting, Geospatial and Project Management. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

TerraSystems is based in Tucson, Arizona. More on terrasw.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with TerraSystems, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
