Techumbrella

Techumbrella is a web design and development company that provides PHP web, CMS, ecommerce development, and wardress solutions. The job it does: running an online store from catalog to checkout.

It makes the most sense for retailers and brands. Alongside the main category they mention E-Commerce. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Techumbrella is based in New York, New York and around since 2007. You can read more at techumbrella.com.

Things worth asking about: transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
