Tandem

Tandem is a tool to help you schedule your school and university. The job it does: building staff schedules and letting people swap shifts without chaos.

Who is it for? Mostly retail, hospitality and healthcare teams. They also list Education and Scheduling, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Tandem is based in Bellevue, Washington. You can read more at tandem.co.

Before you commit, look at labor rules, mobile apps, and time clock features. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
