Subset

Subset is a collaborative spreadsheet on an endless canvas. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

It makes the most sense for companies that need a site that works and ranks. Alongside the main category they mention Web Development. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Subset is based in San Francisco, California. Their site is subset.so.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
