Squad

Grab your squad, swipe on other squads, and hang out if you match!. That is the short version of Squad. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Mobile, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Squad is based in New York, New York. Their site is getsquad.co.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Squad, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
