Spider9

Spider9 is a clean technology startup that provides renewable energy storage solutions and software control systems. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Energy Storage, Renewable Energy and Solar. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Spider9 is based in Northville, Michigan. Their site is spider9.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
