Spectrasonics

Spectrasonics is a leading innovator of world-class, award-winning virtual instrument software plug-ins. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Music, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Spectrasonics is based in Burbank, California and around since 1994. Their site is spectrasonics.net.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
