SourceForge

Here is SourceForge in plain terms. The complete software platform. SourceForge is the largest B2B software review & comparison site in the world with 20 million monthly users. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Consumer Reviews and Software Engineering, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

SourceForge is based in San Diego, California and around since 1999. Their site is sourceforge.net.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
