SOFAR Acoustics

SOFAR Acoustics is a research and development consulting firm that offers advanced engineering solutions in the acoustics and IT sectors. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Consulting. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

SOFAR Acoustics is based in Boston, Massachusetts. More on sofaracoustics.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
