SocialSamba

SocialSamba operates an online scripted social networking platform that enables users to chat with fictional characters they love. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Digital Entertainment and Private Social Networking, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

SocialSamba is based in Santa Clara, California. You can read more at socialsamba.com.
