SmartIT

SmartIT is an IT consulting firm that helps businesses maximize the benefits of technology to work smarter rather than harder. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. They also list Business Information Systems, Consulting, Security and VoIP, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

SmartIT is based in Bay Shore, Michigan. Their site is smartit.nyc.

Before you commit, look at response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
