SmartComment

SmartComment is a software company that develops web-based software for public comments and engagement campaigns. In practice that means making developers faster with better editors, debuggers and workflows.

It makes the most sense for software teams. Alongside the main category they mention Developer Platform. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

SmartComment is based in Los Angeles, California. Their site is smartcomment.com .

Our checklist for this category: language support, team features, and privacy of your code. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
