Slick Leagues

Slick Leagues offers tools for marketing, registration, payments, rostering, scheduling, and concessions in sports operations. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Sports. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Slick Leagues is based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. More on slickleagues.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
