Sky Detective

Sky Detective is a cutting-edge innovator, developer, and marketer of CDMA/GPS tracking devices for the purpose of locating and tracking. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. They also list Fleet Management, Location Based Services, Mobile and Security, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Sky Detective is based in Eagle, Idaho and founded in 2006. Their site is skydetective.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
