Silk Software

Silk Software is an agency that delivers end-to-end B2B and B2C commerce solutions based on the latest technology to global clients. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: B2C and E-Commerce. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Silk Software is based in Irvine, California. Their site is silksoftware.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
