SilconTek

SilconTek is a custom software development company. Silicontek is an IT staffing agency that offers business analysis, project management, SOA, and web services. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Project Management, Recruiting and Staffing Agency, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

SilconTek is based in San Jose, California. You can read more at silicontekinc.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
