Shmeal

Shmeal is a sharing economy app that connects with home cooks and allows to pickup delicious homemade meals for less cost. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Food and Beverage, Food Delivery and Mobile Apps, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Shmeal is based in Chicago, Illinois and around since 2018. You can read more at shmeal.co.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
