Shipper Shield

Shipper shield is application software that provides carrier directory, onboarding, real-time data, insurance and safety services. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Freight Service, Logistics, Risk Management and Supply Chain Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Shipper Shield is based in Elmhurst, Illinois. More on activescout.com.
