Shiertech

Shiertech provides cloud solution, IT consulting, and security services. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Cloud Computing, Consulting, IT Infrastructure, IT Management and Network Security. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Shiertech is based in Bristow, Virginia and founded in 2006. Their site is shiertech.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
