Shield UI

Shield UI is a software development firm that has a focus on jQuery plugins and Javascript framework. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

It makes the most sense for companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Shield UI is based in Seattle, Washington. More on shieldui.com.
