Scout Security

Scout Security is a home security system that combines hardware designs and easy-to-use controls. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. They also list Consumer Electronics, Hardware, Internet of Things and Security, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Scout Security is based in Chicago, Illinois. You can read more at scoutalarm.com.

Before you commit, look at response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
