SchoolSpring

SchoolSpring provides online job search, job application and recruiting services to educators and schools. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention College Recruiting and Recruiting. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

SchoolSpring is based in South Burlington, Vermont. Their site is schoolspring.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
