SchoolSpeak

SchoolSpeak is a web service for elementary, middle and preschools bringing all solutions the school community need under a single login. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list EdTech and Management Information Systems, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

SchoolSpeak is based in Carnelian Bay, California and around since 2007. Their site is schoolspeak.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know SchoolSpeak well, your review carries weight here.
